Job Description

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting, or an Associate’s degree Three (3) year experience of accounts receivable experience, including at least one year of experience in a senior or lead / supervisory role Working knowledge of accounts receivable to conduct detailed analyses of the outstanding receivable and billed claims Basic knowledge of billing and collections for substance use disorder services. Understanding of commercial, managed care, Medicaid, and state of Illinois SUPR billing regulations for substance use disorder services Basic knowledge of some billing software Advanced knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc.) Advanced analytical skills to review and audit bills and accounts, detect and resolve errors and problems, and prepare and administer area procedures Strong organizational skills to to manage multiple assignments, and within the specified timeframes review data, gather information from the sites and respond appropriately to outstanding claims. Strong communication skills to and oversee the work of others

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Ability to communicate effectively in person or by telephone in order to gather and exchange information
