Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalency required Minimum of 6 months of training or equivalent knowledge of substance abuse treatment theory and practices Previous work experience with an adult population in a residential or outpatient setting is preferred Must be able to respectfully interact with substance abuse clients and form a working therapeutic alliance Valid driver’s license in state of residence and good driving record required
Physical Requirements:Ability to walk or move about facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients. Ability to speak with others in order to exchange information and provide support. Ability to proofread and check documents and files for accuracy on a regular basis. Ability to respond to telephones and pages, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises.
