Job Requirements:Demonstrated knowledge of electric, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration and heating trades and HVAC systems; and ability to read and understand schematics and operating manuals, at a level normally acquired through completion of high school, and a minimum of one year technical or vocational training in high school or beyond. Knowledge of equipment repair and installation, preventive maintenance, building operations, and basic construction and renovation; at a level normally acquired through five to seven years progressively more responsible, related experience; with a minimum of three years concurrent supervisory experience or 36 hours of documented supervisory training.
Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to twenty pounds on a daily basis, and up to fifty pounds on a regular basis. Ability to walk and move about, stoop and bend in tight spaces, and climb (ascend and descend) ladders and scaffolding. Ability to reach and grab with arms and hands, and manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools with precision.
